Immersed in the Cambodia forest, I found myself exploring the remains of the ancient residence of King Sihanouk.
We were heading to Kampot by bus when on our way we saw something that looked abandoned, and without hesitation we ask our driver to drop us close to it, right next to the sea.
While searching a place to sleep in the town with funny name Kampot (funny as in Russian language it’s name of a drink from fruits), we bumped into this abandoned guest house and laugh happily as it was exactly the place we were searching for!
They only ate tapioca roots dipped in a bowl where they were minced and mixed with nuts, sugar and salt. This they eat every day until the point where they decided to open a restaurant near the iron triangle.
