It is our penultimate day in Cambodia… While looking for a convenient spot from where to start hitchhiking towards Thailand, we come across this gigantic abandoned hotel.
Step by step I climb the rusty stairs without any protection, hoping to reach the top as soon as possible.
Cambodia, National Park Bokor, top of the Mountain. I choke in the middle of the cold warmth of fog. I feel observed. Everywhere there are eyes, hiding behind the Rocky Mountain and awaiting…
Immersed in the Cambodia forest, I found myself exploring the remains of the ancient residence of King Sihanouk.
We were heading to Kampot by bus when on our way we saw something that looked abandoned, and without hesitation we ask our driver to drop us close to it, right next to the sea.
While searching a place to sleep in the town with funny name Kampot (funny as in Russian language it’s name of a drink from fruits), we bumped into this abandoned guest house and laugh happily as it was exactly the place we were searching for!
